Let it rain!

That's right friends -- it's that time of year when we all sit down and celebrate the joy that is Marcus Holknekt. It's my birthday today and congratulatory notes are dropping in from all over the world. Presents are being air-dropped over Monrovia, cakes eaten, candles blown. I feel alive...aaaaliiiiiiveeeee!!!! I have accrued so much wisdom this year that it is almost embarrassing. I want to share it with you.

Monrovia continues to amaze me. I really have to take a picture of some wheelbarrel boys soon because that is a huge business here and quite a sight. Some sit in their wheelbarrels waiting to be hired for just anything, others run their business out them, walking around with whatever their hawking pile up to their chin. Predictably, my favorites are the music barrels that, without fail, have a crappy sound system blasting out the tdk tapes they're selling. For some reason they all offer to sell me religious music. I guess I give off that vibe.

I'm off to Hotel Royal now to watch the Sweden-Paraguay game.
